I have ordered/received my New Tiguan

Picked up our Indium Grey Tiguan R-Line (Build Date Oct 2017) with Driver Assist, rubber mats including boot mat last month.

No traction control button but have 2.0 TSI and 4motion badges. Not sure if it's MY18 or MY18.5

I believe the Nov 2017 build is MY18.5, it has no traction control button and no badges.

BTW it came with a free Sunroof, specifically ordered one without it

I ordered it end of July 2017. Got delivered 31 Jan. Dealer called me when the car arrived at the dealership, he said we have a problem, the car has a sunroof. They said VW made the mistake as the order does not have a sunroof. After some negotiations they finally agreed to give it without any extra charge. I suspect the mix up may have happened when VW was changing from MY18 to MY18.5.

I’ve not heard from anyone who has the same combination of no traction control button but still have the badges.

I think it’s fairly safe to say they are characteristics of MY18.5 - It’s been noted elsewhere in this forum and on a UK forum.

Hi Mate, sorry to bug you again, any news on your tig? Landed/at dealer/delivered hopefully? I think you are about 2 weeks ahead of me (should dock next week in syd)

Hi Pete8oes, don't be silly as I was about to ask you if you had heard anything? I was told yesterday I am about 2 weeks away from picking it up. I was hoping it was going to be picked up next week but oh well.

Thanks Nevs! Sorry to hear of another delay, hoping wont be too long before you are in your new ride. I will probably drop into the dealer tomorrow and followup. I will report back if I have anything tangible

We’ve got a NOV 2017 build R-Line with no traction control button, engine badge deleted from rear tailgate.

Has 2 x USB, 1 x 12V front console
1 x USB rear console
