Have you guys had the shipped email yet? I haven't. I was under the impression it took 6 weeks for the ship to get here once it leaves... Anyone else out there know more?

No further updates from dealer or auto emails. Was hoping for the shipped email this week. Im working on 4-6 weeks seems the usual

Any news from the 'next shipment' crew? I havent received any updates or the 'im shipped' email yet. Seems to have taken a while between built and shipped (almost 3 weeks now)

Nope no updates for me either... apparently dealer said we are still on track for mid feb

The dealer just advised me the ship arrives in Melbourne on 02 March so I will have the car by mid March. He was not aware of the ship details etc as I know there are people on this forum which followed the ships movements. I would be surprised if your car was not on the same ship. The countdown has begun haha

So I picked up the new ride yesterday afternoon from my dealership, and I am beyond impressed so far (noting I am coming from a run-around 2003 Mazda 3)!!!

The status on the tracking still says discharged so I don't think they care what happens beyond confirming it left the ship. The status on my VW custom page they sent me still say it's on the ocean LOL!

Regarding shipping time, it took the Grand Hero ~6 weeks to get to Port Kembla from Bremerhaven via the Cape of Africa. It took ~5 days from when it was confirmed as 'built' to actually going on the ship. Luckily my dealer gave me the VIN before it was even booked so I could check it daily to track it.

The status of mine (also from the Grand Hero) also still says 'discharged' and according to VW it's still on a cruise, however as of today there is a shiny new Tiguan in my driveway. After 6ks not much to report except it got home in one piece. looks good, feels good.

When you hit 10k's that's the sweet spot

Will have a solid hour drive home from down the coast when we pick ours up, will be a fight between the Mrs and I who drives though I reckon!
