I have ordered/received my New Tiguan

I have not received any gift from VW as yet. Could it be because I got a fleet discount???

After much thinking and internal struggle with the 2 options, I have decided to go with the TDI. I drove both engine variants one after the other today and could not pick a clear winner. Both I feel have good power and driveability but deliver it in different ways. I felt that at the end of the day I love the overall package more and the engine wasnt as import to me. I like the fact the TDI will save me money at the pump and I like my car to be economical whilst being able to get up and go when i hit the pedal. I also felt that after 6 months waiting I couldn't wait until July for the petrol.

So those were the contributing factors. I just hope I made the right choice and don't live to regret it :)

Hey All,

Just got a call from the dealer to tell me that all highlines have been pushed back. My original delivery was for 2nd week of May & now they are saying its a 2 month delay, so wont get it till 2nd week July!!! WTF! Anyone got the call??

I think your circumstances were different to most. You've probably made the right decision, and the sensible side of you will always be happy that you're saving at the pump ;-)

Maybe it's the dealer that decides who gets these marketing promos??
