From your checking on forums, what is the lowest price you've seen paid for FY18.5 Tiguan Highline 162TSI (DAP, R-line, Sunroof, Boot-liner) ?
Thanks that’d be great. Those prices above were the best I’d seen for MY18/18.5 - varied depending on State. But nothing better than 56,815 or “under 57”.

About a year ago a couple of people got 56.5 for fully loaded white versions.

So if you end up getting 56 flat, that’ll be the new best.

I started with a broker price then called around seeing if anyone could beat it. Ended up with a good deal on a sportline. In the broker’s defence their price was very competitive straight off the bat. I managed to save about $1k by haggling further.

Everybody here is trying to prove that they got the best discount poss believe what u will. Ours cost 57K+2.6 for 2 ex warranty, wouldn't move on that.

I seriously don’t believe that’s the case at all. I read this thread, as I imagine others did, to research the price and options so that I could make an informed decision as to how much I was prepared to pay and what method I would employ to purchase my vehicle. It is literally impossible with the range of options and variables to compare each individual purchase ‘apple for apples’ anyways.

I think it's useful information when people are negotiating a deal.

You'll almost always get a better deal form a dealer who has the car in stock and wants/needs to shift it.

If the car has to get transported interstate then there's less room to move as the deal has to include the freight cost for shifting the car from dealer A to dealer B.

I'm currently looking at a fully loaded Sportline on the 1.8% finance deal. Interested to see what deals others have done with metallic paint and sunroof.
