Agree. The 162 is a cracker of an engine. Makes the car put a smile on your face.

What's the reasonable DA price for 162TSI Sportline? RRP is $51,761. Is it realistic to get 10% off?

Dealer I was using tried to offload a sportline on me. We didn't want it as no virtual cockpit. Given his eagerness to sell me one, I felt like they had lots of room to move on price.

But... maybe they just had a few in stock and it could vary from dealer to dealer.

Given others got highlines for around 11% off, you'd want more off for a sportline.

I got my highline with DAP 162 for a little less ran $51300

I bought my Golf with this deal so I can confirm there is no monthly or establishment fees. Only fee I see in the paperwork if you pay off the loan early ($200 from memory). Plus, I saw few hundred $ difference between the final payment amount and car's guaranteed future value in the paperwork. Doesn't explain why so it could be another fee.

Just ordered a 162TSI r-line with DAP in white, delivery by end of May - $57,750. Includes delivery from Campbelltown to ACT. Used National Car Brokers who managed to locate a cancelled order.

    Ended up getting 162TSI Sportline.
Looking at the list of features and comparing them to 132TSI (which required Lux and DAP packs being added to it) and 162TSI Highline, feeling pretty happy with the standard equipment in Sportline. Seems like the only missing things are leather seats with electric adjustments (which i can live without) and couple small cosmetic things (compared to Highline). Didn't really care about Sunroof that was included with 132TSI at the cost of smaller engine and extra $2000 added to the base cost via Lux pack.

Doesn't it also miss the virtual cockpit? Reason why we didn't consider it. Otherwise a good kitted our car.

Yeah, that's another thing that doesn't make the car any faster
Had a go at it when been given Arteon as a lease car during the service but frankly, didn't really make a difference. Wouldn't pay extra 2k for it... unless it's standard equipment wouldn't really bother with it. Ok, looks spiffy but...
