Hi everyone, recently brought a new MY17162tsi in Habanero Orange with DAP, tint, tow bar, loading sill protector plate, cargo tray and wheels painted gloss black for $55,400. Was the dealers only 162tsi and had 400ks on it, which helped to get the price down.
Really wanted a R line but they didn't have one, and as it's the wife's daily she picked the orange. So the hunt is on to find the R line Aero to convert mine to look like an R Line at least haha.

Note: Just found put the Habanero Orange isn't available in R line.

For anyone looking for a MY18 162 R-line in white with DAP (no sunroof), there's one going into stock at the Barry Maney VW dealership in Mount Gambier.

It's due to land there in November so jump on it if you want one this side of Xmas.

    54000 euro's, for a not full Rline!
Seems way more expensive then the prices in AUS?
Especially as all your cars need to be shipped for weeks.

Don't worry, there is always someone somewhere paying less or more than you. Competition, brand positioning, affordability, market size etc play more role than distance. Look at the US market, it is far but large and competitive and car prices (and almost everything else) are much cheaper there.

I know but it's ridiculous in The Netherlands. 9000,- euro's of taxes on my car. Also Germany were they are build is right next to us
My car is 54000 euro's but that makes 80000,- AUS Dollars if i'm correct.

Yep, sounds about right. I looked at the German VW website (cool 360deg view in the configurator tool, by the way!) and was shocked by the price feature for feature. My Austrian brother-in-law is green with envy that I'm can afford a better car than him

Check volkswagen.nl site for the Dutch prices. But before you do that, take a seat . (they are even worse then Germany)
