How much did you pay for your Tiguan?

I will look for the first page later on.. but seriously, mine came from sydney to Adelaide and was 46500, can you get one from Sydney? I found that the dealer was willing to beat the price of another retailer ... 50,103 is not justifiable.

I agree with Jackson22 - I've had 2 friends have the same issue with Canberra dealers not willing to deal. They both ended up buying from Sydney and having the cars delivered to their homes for much less.

Yes. although to clarify I bought mine from Adelaide, but it landed in Sydney, so any story from a Canberra dealer about freight or transport is wrong.

My wife and I are after a 132tsi comfortline. We are looking used but will give new a try.

Any dealers you recommend we look at? We are in WA.

MY18 162TSi Highline + DAP + Sunroof + Metalic + Cargo Tray + Tank of Fuel = $53750.

Originally negotiated MY18 132TSi Comfortline + DAP + LUX + Metalic + Cargo Tray + Tank of Fuel = $49000. But changed my mind when I could get the Highline by end of next week.

I think I paid $750 too much but will get the car in 5-8 days. Its either Dec 17 built or Jan 18 built dealer cannot check as it's VW Australia stock and not their stock (still in customs). I was told there are no MY18.5. Is this true?

If it's built in November 17 it should be 18.5.. will be able to tell when you pick it up as the tsi badge is removed and there are 2 X USB ports in the front

Not a bad price overall too.. but I believe the price doesn't matter as long as you are happy with what you paid and getting what you want.. and can assure you when you take it for its first drive you will be happy with what you spent..

I just wanted to get the deal done. I had no clue about the Highline pricing as originally I wanted Comfortline with DAP. Then added the Luxury pack. Negotiated the price and went to the dealer.

Then I realised Luxury pack didn't add LED headlights which I was told by one dealer it did. Then wasn't sure if I should go sportline or highline. This has been the most complicated experience of all the cars I have bought in my life. Packs make life hard. This thread was very useful but perhaps I should have come home and started over.

Hi FirstVWbuyer, had to laugh as I went through exactly the same thing and also ended up paying almost exactly what you did. Still, couldn't be happier and those 2 USB ports on the 18.5 are great as I have an iphone while my wife has a samsung (so different cables).

I think that's an excellent price. Well done. Can't believe you're getting it next week! Mine's still not coming til April (ordered earlier this month).

Does Highline have LEDs or Halogen? I should know! But like you went through so many variations that I forget which has them. You'd think the Highline would!
