Yes you can certainly get some good deals on 2019 build cars. And you certainly should as these will have 1 year worse resale value when it comes time to trade in at the other end of ownership.

Yeah not sure how they price cars. Many older with more kms with a higher list price. to give them room to bargain I guess. At around 500kms driven, it’s a great car and so enjoying the tech. Not tried anything other than sedate driving/eco so far as I get used to it but you can sure feel its power there below the surface. Huge change from the Mazda 3 SP 25gt I had until a recent hail storm..... But then yours sounds like a huge step up again with the huge range of mods you’ve done Tigger73!

Looks like most of the more recent posts here are for Allspace models. Anyone bought a regular Highline with all the options recently? Looks like $61k for new and $58k for a demo on Carsales. I'd like to take advantage of the 2.99% VW Choice finance but it looks like they're not doing that on demos, only new.

When I recently bought my demo Tiguan, before the 2.99 deal was advertised, they offered 3.95% To 4.5% so might be worth asking a dealer. Looks like the 2019 builds are being sharply priced still - another fully optioned New car for $56,990 on carsales - aug 19 build.

Where are you seeing that? Cheapest 2019 162 Tig on Carsales with 3 options is $57980 for a demo. Cheapest new one is $60990

Tried pasting a link to it, but not sure if its working as it gets changed to “You have been blocked.” So maybe search for 162 Tiguan for $56,990 in NSW. The picture is not the upgraded car, but it’s listed as having all options.

Got it - you're right the pic doesn't show R Line, that's why I missed it.

Decided not to go 162 R Line. 132 with everything (not Allspace), indium grey, 5 yr care pack, black and white plates, tint, 2.99 finance with buyback - $56362. Thought I might have done a little better but after 2 dealers and a broker that's what I got.
