Question 2019 VW Tiguan - How do you Close the Boot from inside the Car ?

You can open the Boot from the Button on the Drivers Side Door

How do you Close the Boot from inside the Car ?

Is there another button to use ?

Weird, works everytime I do it

    Click up once to open.
Click up and hold and it closes

    Tested and it works

I realise now you need to hold the button up until it closes

    Just clicking once does nothing

    Thanks

Is there a moderator here, somewhere that can save this forum and other's sanity from the increasing amount of stupid people asking the most stupid of questions easily answered in an owner's handbook?

    Unfortunately no.

If you don’t find the discussion interesting/relevant best to read another thread that does.

For those that have managed to lock their keys in their car it’s a worthwhile discussion and something that other owners should be aware of so that they don’t suffer the same fate.

The reason why its better to start a separate thread is so the question and answer is easily searchable both in the forum and via a search engine

Good luck trying to find a question and answer in a thread that is 30 pages long

Maybe stick to playing music on your guitar and stay away from computers

As a fun fact, I’m fairly sure you can’t lower the tailgate remotely in the allspace.

If OP had one of those, it’d be a legit question.

Also the owners manuals are crap in some ways. It’s a worldwide one, mentioning many features we don’t have here. Nothing is explained as to which market it’s relevant.
