Head Restraint Recall

Just dropped my car in for a service and the rep said there was a new recall on the Head Restraint. They didn't have the part in stock yet, but they would get to it on the next service...

Is it a recall or a service fix?

My dealer service rep calls me out of the blue and tells me there is an air bag recall unrelated to the takata scandal. I was like wtf! So do I some research and find something about them for North America only. I call them up and spoke to a technician instead and was told it was an electrical issue in my panoramic sunroof!!! So what will happen now is they will have to remove the existing led lighting around the glass panel and install a new one. Chances are the car will be returned with a few extra rattles.

In my case it was returned with scratched and stained pillar trims throughout. A,b,c and d pillars.

‘Amazing’ service and attitude from my dealer. They mostly fixed/cleaned their mistakes(as I had proof from unrelated pics and vids), but flat out denied a couple of issues(no proof)

I didn't get any detail on the head restraints, the tech just said it was a new recall and they were waiting on parts. Probably should have pushed more but we were standing outside in 43c heat
