Pretty sure all the AWD Tigs have LC.

I’d have to confirm on FWD models but that was certainly the case with gen1 Tig.

My 162 Highline has it, I used it once to see if it works and haven't bothered since and I haven't a clue how to do it now. It's in the manual so you can get it from there.

    Hi Ozsko
With the new MY18.5 have they removed the ESC/traction control button? Do you need to go into the menu to turn it to ESC SPORT? That would be a tad annoying for engaging LC...

Just in case anyone was wondering how to activate launch control.

Start watching at about 30 seconds.

I didn’t manage to get a reply from Osako. Any MY18.5 162 TSI owners want to chime in?

Sorry I missed this, my car is an early one so it has the button and yes on the later cars it is a menu item only.

Gen 2 Tiguan 162TSI launch control

I haven't launched mine yet but the stability control options are under the settings menu:

Just select ESC Sport when in "S" mode, foot hard on brake, 100% accelerator, lift foot off brake, go.

Great, thanks tigger. Are you waiting for a certain number of k’s before trying it out?
