Long time member and used to own the 1st Gen Tiguan.

Have this flappy steering wheel (with no airbag) collecting dust and no use to me.

Just to add to the above post this steering wheel would be great for anyone with a Trendline or Comfortline with ACC that wants to add paddle shifters to their car.

Alternatively if you have standard cruise control you'd have to swap the buttons over from your steering wheel to maintain the cruise control function.

Also the Trendline/Comfortline airbag should be a direct swap too so just need to swap wheels over, code the paddles and job done!!!

You need to have VCDS or OBD11 to enable the feature. It's literally ticking a box and saving.

Golf Mk7 wheel will work. I'm currently running a steering wheel out of a Mk7 Golf R in my 162TSI Tig. 2 things to be careful of are making sure you have an airbag to suit the wheel and second is that the buttons are 100% compatible (mainly cruise control or ACC as there's a difference).

Bought on eBay (usually an Eastern European seller) and yes was for a Mk7 Golf.

Tiguans have always been an after thought and VW just raids the same Golf parts bin.

Do eBay search on the part number (5G0419091) and see if there's any current listings for sale.
