Floating / slipping in Tiguan MY17 132KW

Hi everyone....
At times my Tiggy is slipping or ‘floating’ on the road. It’s very strange - kind of like it needs a wheel alignment but it doesn’t. It seems to occur whist I’m driving in Eco mode.
Anyone experienced this ???

I would say this is when the car is engaging "coasting".

Not sure if your economy screen will show it as mine is a my18.5 with the digital dash and it shows on there for me but the car will disengage the engine and make it feel like you are in neutral effectively using no fuel..

This happens pretty quickly and engages when throttle is applied again fairly quickly as well.

Ahhhh that makes total sense. You’re right, my dash doesn’t show it as it’s not digital....

Did you check your Tyre pressures ?

Yes I’ve been checking it regularly but will again to make sure. Thanku!
