I was driving our Tiguan 2018 the other night and noticed i felt it needed more range of headlight low beam.
We have recently purchased this and it is our first SUV, coming from a Honda Civic. So seating and lights are naturally higher.
It appears to have the dynamic LED headlights, hence no manual range adjustment.
I felt that there is room for some height increase as I was travelling behind another vehicle.
I was not towing anything. And if there was no vehicle in front, I felt anxious about the less time than I'm used to to avoid something as it came into light range.
Is this dynamic headlight range something that can go out of spec? If so, can they adjust them?
Or is it me being new into a higher vehicle where the headlights naturally would need to be aimed slightly lower to avoid dazzling drivers directly in front?
Does anyone feel a need to increase the low beam height/range?
