Driver Personalization for newbie

Allspace October 2020 built MY21 which has wireless CarPlay and lacks the adaptive lane guidance and personalisation. The SWB MY21 aren’t out yet

The adaptive lane guidance at least is a quick fix with an OBD11. .

Thanks, I’ve read somewhere it may not work with MY21 - I was seeing if Tiggyiggyiggy had any issues as they have a MY21 also

Its there nos 8 & 9 ,11 and yes it was part of the Driver assistance package so no need to enable it ,just adjust the various settings

Have never seen anything to enable it with OBDEleven

Or rather it requires VW online connected services which are unavailable in Australia so deactivated on our models
They also removed adaptive lane guidance - not sure why

Just picked up our MY21 Allspace last week and can confirm there is no key fob personalisation options on the settings menu however adaptive lane guidance is present. Operates above 60km/h and nudges the wheel to keep in lane.

That’s the lane keeping system but not adaptive lane guidance available in other models (and MY20) - it doesn’t *actively* keep the vehicle centred in lane - it only lets you know when you leave the lane by vibrating the wheel and the annoying “drive in the centre of the lane” beep

You personalize setting by using the different remotes. Im the only driver of my car and this week when remotes battery went flat Nd I used the spare my seat and other settings didnt work.

After i went back to my remote they did

Lots of theings in 2020 on versions cant be altered with OBDEleven.


Wouldnt your car be a 2020 build and the 21's are the update version

I just tested this for our MY21 Passat Alltrack, and it’s not the same. Everything stays the same for both keys.

Correction; the seat position seems to be linked to the key, but only it.

All the other items normally associated with the User Personalisation doesn’t seem to change.

I picked up a barely used 2021 Allspace Wolfsburg last week, with every bell and whistle in VW's Tiggy-specific arsenal, and I'm quite peeved that Adaptive Lane Guidance is not in the menu, nor mentioned in the manual. Looks like I'm ordering an OBDEleven.
