Why would you go to a dealer for basic servicing? There are plenty of reputable VW workshops that can do log book servicing for a better price.

Nope. It's coded - default is if you have the accessories/ignition on then the DRL's are on.

That's what the OBD11/VCDS coding will do is switch them off when you have your handbrake engaged.

I haven't tried in a really long time, is it possible to just hit the power button on the radio without the keys in the ignition?
