    Cracked fuel filler housing

My car's approx 10 months old and over the last month or two I noticed a crack on the fuel filler housing.
No accidents, knock or bumps so not sure how it's got there, but wondering if anyone else has has a similar issue?

Hi, recently I had the same issue with my Toyota Vios and been looking in the internet and asking in different shop what is the caused and how to replace or repair this kind of damage in the fuel filler housing. I saw this in the internet How to Replace a Fuel Filler Neck | YourMechanic Advice and there I was able to replace with the help of my friend a mechanic. hopefully this would be able to help you.

That's an interesting one. If it's not causing any issues I wouldn't make a special trip to the dealer for it. Next time you're there get them to look at it. I'd definitely be looking to get the part replaced under warranty. Are you sure it hasn't been like that since the start?

Yeah, noticed it about 2 months ago, and just waited until my first service (this week) to get the dealer to look at it.

Can't be sure it hasn't been there from the start, certainly not the sort of thing you go looking for, but once you see it, you can't unseen it...
I thought about leaving it, because I'm worried about the damage they may do in replacing it, but then figured it would be good to get it done under warranty.
