    Bought another Tiguan

So I really loved my first Tiguan, a 2022 that I had to sell because some lady ran up the back of me. Anyway, I then went on to buy a Mazda Cx5, really didn’t enjoy it. Then I got a Nissan Xtrail. Didn’t like that either, so I am back to the VW family, a full circle. This time I have gone with an all space r line, meant to be getting it in February or March.

Hi and welcome. Yes you have gone a full circle. I can see why you wouldnt like the Xtrail, but the CX-5 is a nice car, and assuming you had the turbo 2.5L engine they have enough power too. Curious what you didn't like about the CX-5?

Not too long to wait for the new R Line.

Thanks for the welcome. CX-5 was a diesel, I wasn’t a big fan of the colour and the no touch screen really annoyed me. It made life really difficult.

My 2019 Tiguan is the best car I've owned (or rented - I rent a lot!) so I can see why you've come back. I'm considering updating to a hybrid or EV next year but nothing is grabbing me enough so far to make me want to trade my Tig!

Ok i can imagine the 4 cylinder diesel not being much fun to drive. I had made the assumption that you had bought the 2.5L petrol turbo engine.

Mazda do not have a great reputation with their modern diesel engines, so you probably dodged a bullet there.

The Tiguan R Line would have to be one of the best/nicest mid size SUV on the market - I hope you enjoy it. What colour did you get? I love the colour "Nightshade blue" but have only seen 1 or 2 in this colour....looks fantastic in the sun.

My last one was nightshade blue, but this time since I am going with the allspice I have gone Atlantic blue.

You are right, Mazda have a bit of issue with their diesel’s. A lot of the Japanese brands have lost the plot.
