Don't do it, I've got black wheels, PITA to keep clean... They do Look mint when clean tho!
And your tyre Shop will Scratch them, sure thing

I used to have shinny black wheels on a Land Rover too , as long as you put OptiCoat (or similar product) on it they comes clean easily even with auto car wash ( I prefer Water Wizard 2.0 )
