Got the 1st one, has been awesome so far. Easy to clean as not much sticks to it.

Did the tray come like that, as it looks deformed at the rear ?

I know that the cargo net comes standard with the highline. Not sure about the other lines.

I’ve just checked my tray and it looked deformed in the pic as it wasn’t sitting flush with the rear seats.

I have the first one, very happy with it. I managed to negotiate it as an 'add on' when I bought the car, along with the alumimium boot protector strip) so money was no object. Highly recommend the boot protector strip too, the scratches on it from putting bikes in the car are testimony to its worth..

I suspect that is a result of 'forcing' the supplied cargo net to 'fit' the bootliner? Like I said in my above post, why VW would not take that into consideration with the design of the bootliner is beyond me!

BTW, cargo net comes with the Tiguan and you will find it in the wheel well under the floor.

How do you find the Boot Liner compared to the Boot Tray ?

Did you look at both before buying ?

I have the vw top one. it's really good. I also got the boot protector strip.. both at the time of purchase as an add in - so money not considered. I would thoroughly recommend both, especially the aluminium strip... saves scratches of things going in and out..

They didn't have the tray in a Tiguan but they did on a golf wagon. The liner being harder is the go. Easier to move items on and the plastic feels more durable. As mentioned, invest in the bumper protector.

    ???

I thought the Tray was harder and more durable, and the liner was the flexible one you can bend ???
