Agreed, but I hope everyone realises that the profile is a percentage of tread width. So 65% of 215mm is less than 65% of 245mm. About 20mm difference on each side of the tyre, so approx 40mm total. That’s not a small amount(maybe still legal though- if 7% is the rule)

The 7% applies to the diameter compared the OEM tyre. Width doesn’t come into it regarding the ruling however width is a factor in the overall diameter measurement. So as long as your overall is under 7% smaller or larger than a placarded OEM rim and tyre combo your sweet. (Rubbing is a separate issue however and must still be checked.
