Hi Team,
I got a new Tiguan Wolfsburg Edition just before Christmas and it comes with the 20" wheels.
Since I am still driving on national park dirt roads on a regular basis I wanted to find some either genuine or aftermarket rims on to which I can put some All Terrain tyres. Just a second wheel set basically for occasional off road trips.
I wanted to ask what others with the same year model have come up with because the tyre shops give me mixed messages.
One said there are hardly any aftermarket wheels that fit a VW Tiguan and I'm best to buy some 18" genuine wheels from VW for which there are a few AT tyre options. Another tyre shop said there are barely any decent AT tyre options for 18" and I should go to 16" rims. VW said they don't have any 16" rims for this car as they may not even clear the brake callipers and the offset might not be right either.

So basically it seems I can't fit any decent AT tyres on my car at all, which I find very hard to believe.

Wondering what others with a similar year model have done, surely there are some options out there?
Thanks in advance
Thomas
