I noticed in this video the faux leather r-line seats for have a slight grey middle bit added where as all the 2019 models I’ve seen are just plain black. They look fantastic. The question is, will this be the Australian models too?

Ever since late 2016 when I first started watching review models on the 2017 Tiguan I've seen variations in seat finishes among other things. Ultimately it's down to what VW Australia decide they want for the Australian market. We seem to get less choice than our European counterparts so I wouldn't get your hopes up. Whatever you see on the website when you run through the "configure your car" process is the options you have.
