    Bogan or otherwise is not the point. VW have assured me theirs is a premium product, and they sure as hell charge a premium price for servicing, but their attention to detail in services is way less than premium. 2 out of 3 I suppose 2019 JD Power Report - Servicing - VW Ranked below industry average

    Yeah, I can see it being true- not that JD is the oracle of truth.

    Compared with Mazda, Ford, Suzuki, Hyundai and Citroen, I’d put VW 4th- for reliability and 4th for company/dealer integrity (Ford last)


    Speaking of service- my first service only covered oil and filter change- at least so far as ticks in the logbook are concerned. No other checks weren’t ticked. But at least it only cost about $400...
