Hey Tigger73,
Glad you could post up the dyno, I would have pulled my hair out last night trying (if I had any). And yes it does pull like a train over 3,000RPM. I love the dual personality where under 2800RPM it's great for cruising and daily duties, but over that and just keeps pulling!
Now to find a Mk7 Golf R cat-back exhaust with resonator (apparently it's located much further down the exhaust than the 132), to fit and cut most of the tinny-raspy sound out. And the more I think about it, I like the quad tips showing, only issue will be cutting out the extra bit for the tips, or is there an aftermarket bumper available?

Hi iDiesel,
I have a 2019 132TSI Allspace and bought it under the presumption it would tune up like the 162TSI's (should have done a bit more digging around first). Had a MK1 125TSI with APR 2+ previously.
Can you share a price list (inc labour maybe?) and where you went. I'm in QLD sunshine coast and the local dealer for tunes (including APR) is Eurocar Upgrades, and just want to be able to compare costings of getting my tig upgraded close to your Kwaw specs!
Cheers mate!
I believe APR may have a stage 1 tune for this engine now, however if you wanted to get similar results I'd talk to German Auto Dynamics who are the Underground Performance dealer in Brisbane:

Obviously Underground Performance have spent the time to develop the file for this engine so I'd be inclined to at least talk to these guys to see what they can do for you.

Thanks mate. I went with the APR Stage 1 for $1100 because it's all local tuners had (they are starting to stock TVS, but have read some conflicting stories with their customer service). Price seems good - and the result has been great! A little extra pep which has gotten me closer to my experience with the APR Stage 2+ on the MK1 Tig.
Thanks Tigger... These guys are about 2.5hrs away from me, so I wouldn't be able to justify starting a working relationship with them ... am just seeing the tail end of a crappy relationship with a euro car specialist in Capalaba which is 1.5hrs from me. Everything is fine when it's all working proper, but the tell of a great mechanic and tuner I think is how they treat you when things go wrong - and driving 1.5+hrs each time is a real sour on a bad situation, haha.
Thanks for your replies guys : )
Hi, I have a Skoda Kodiaq 132TSI which has the same running gear as the Tiguan 132TSI, lately been doing research on the tuning side of things and came across this thread. From what I can gather our cars has the EA888 Gen 3B Budack cycle engine which is the low output of the Gen 3.
The factory turbocharger found on the Gen 3B engine isn't made by IHI nor IS20 in this regard, its actually made by Continental using their RAAX design, part No. 06K 145 654 K. The main difference for the Gen 3B family engine is it has the valvelift system applied on the intake side where as the Gen 3 has it on the exhaust side which is more tuneable and make more power, ours are designed for higher-efficiency. The Gen 3B has an increase of the compression ratio from 9.6 (Gen 3) to 11.7 by decreasing the combustion chamber volume.
I am slowly getting all the parts to go stage 2 once the remaining warranty runs out on the car, good to see you had great results and I will be watching this space for further updates, thanks.
