I'm also gonna tune my new Tiguan when it arrives. In Europe we have the 150bhp 2.0 TDI DSG engine. Or manual gearbox of course. My ecu tune is 899 euro's including before and after dynojet runs and a backup of the original settings just in case. They did this engine before on other Tiguans/VW's and with stage1 ecu tune they get around 180-190bhp on average and torque increase from 340 stabdard to 375-390. Every engine is different of course and get's there own specific tuning in The Netherlands.

Nice bump in power does it make a noticeable difference?

The tune i am looking at goes from 135kw to 154kw and 380nm to 450nm so going to get it dyno tuned to test it
Need to get to 1st service at 15000klm 1st and make sure its ok giving it lots between now (1600klm) and the service so any weakness should show up

Is the 180bhp 2.0TDI available at your country with the R-line? Nice as that was my first choice but the engine is not available in The Netherlands.
Especially the torque increase will be noticable is my guess, I don't have my Tiguan yet so can't tell you how it feels.
I'm letting it tune after 1500km's on the clock already, should be no problem at all according the company as they will put it on the dynojet and on the road and read every value that is important to keep the engine safe. (Turbo pressure, temperatures etc.) and then do the tuning and re-read the values and compare them to the safety margins.
