It does work (aside from the warning), but it's a little sketchy as most of Australia isn't road signed to any reasonable standard like other markets. This means you can pickup poorly positioned signs on adjacent roads/freeway offramps. Your car could start braking in the middle of the freeway because you're doing 100km/h and the offramp (which you're not on) has a 60 sign visible from the freeway.

I really hope not. DTSR is not turned on but is in some really almost third world countries. So hoping it can work. I have read sime post in which by not turning on fusion between gps and tsr it works apparently ok?
