Tinting & Paint protection

Hi all,

Wife and I have purchased a used 15' B8 140TDI in pearl black. We love it so far but since it is parked outside 100% of the time, we were wanting to put some sort of protection on the paint and get tinting done.

Can anyone recommend anywhere in the Sydney region to do this? Willing to drive anywhere in the Sydney metro if its cost effective for the quality of work.

These guys do not do tinting. For window tinting, i can personally recommend Rob from Hunters Hill window tinting. Many many other people on this forum have also used Hunters Hill Tinting. He did what was by far the best window tint job i have had on any car.

I’ve had two cars through Protekt Auto in Clyde. They used to be called Reflect Effect so if you see reviews under that name it’s the same business run by David Trieu.

The name was changed I think once he started doing more than just pure detailing. Lots of paint protection films, scrape protection, tinting, etc, in addition to the Opticoat Pro + I got.

Even more perfectionist than me and that’s saying something (they found their calling).

Any idea on pricing? Am I looking at the 1k mark? 1.5?

Closer to the $1.5k end of the range with tint as well but probably not more. There are prices on the Protekt Auto website but you can get a package deal if combining a few things
