Is the battery down a bit Passats do funny things when it is Mine used to get dash full of lights if it was down too far
I regularly use the passenger-side mirror dip for kerbside parking. I know I need to have the side mirror adjustment knob left on the L (left) setting for this to work.
Recently it’s stopped returning to the normal position after being dipped. Eg: I put the car in reverse, the mirror dips, I then put the car in drive and it doesn’t come back up at all (even after a few minutes in drive).
The only solution is to readjust the mirror back up manually using the joystick on the driver’s side door.
It’s not consistently doing it so I suspect the dealer won’t be able to replicate (gremlins law?).
Occasionally it’s become so confused that the settings have flipped. I never realised how disconcerting it was driving without a left side mirror until this happened and all I could see was road.
Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions?
The car is a MY19 206tsi. Folding on locking and manual adjustment works fine.

Hi all,
Not sure if I should of created a new post but I'm trying to figure out whether or not my 2015 B8 MY16 Passat Highline has the side mirror dip feature? I went into the maneuvering and parking system and couldn't find anything.
Cheers,
J
Should tell you in the manual how to do it Try that and see if it works
