I wouldn't be painting the chrome. I'd look at plasti-dip or wrapping it so that it's reversible when you go to sell it.

I was thinking this morning that it would look a lot better with a brushed aluminum finish rather than the chrome, or just continue the piano black stuff on the chrome bits. Chrome always looks cheap to me. Particularly on the old C63 AMG's.Quote:

That would be me. I've done about 1800k's with it installed. The car performs really well. The feel with gentle throttle is the same without the JB1. With moderate to heavy throttle, the engine pulls harder for longer in each gear. I don't have any special map on mine but I believe you can have one that makes the car behave more aggressively.Quote:

When I was at the showroom, Golf R and GTI had P Zero or Potenza... Not sure why they put these awful tyres on the Passat R (in my case Skoda Superb 206). Will replace them as soon as I can.
