I have been in a MK7-R with JB1 ... and i was like ... HOLY ****TTTTTT!

Less than 5???? Hmm. To be honest, I haven't really driven it in any sort of an aggressive style. I took it up the freeway to Newcastle and back and the midrange torque is so much better. It has noticeably more power. No bs.
$699 installed. As I said before, I tried the ABT unit on the Skoda.
I would have maybe considered to pay the $3k if it gave me the gains of the JB1. But in reality with front wheel drive
It would only be good for mid range acceleration.

Yes... my friend's MK7R did 4.4sec on the stripe with just JB1 (no other mod) with some race fuel. So ... under 5 is possible for our 206 with normal 98ron.

Does it induce any exhaust/engine noise? (more of a concern as I have a 6months old bub)

well.. the theory of piggyback is that it intercept signal from the sensors (only 4 plugs/sensors), and provide the ECU with altered input, so it will calculate the data differently. So it is not a re-tune/re-map kind of setup. And hence... if you unplug it before handing the car back to the dealer, it should not be detactable.

And you can take it in and out quote easily as it is only 4 connect point (3 on top in the engine bay and one under, which you need to jack the car up)

All advice, even from the dealer, says it shouldn't. It doesn't flag a TD1 fault like a flash tune does. The reason I had one installed was because I drove a VW dealer demonstrator sedan with a JB1. The CFO's car. It only had 60k's on it. As and when you want it removed, just unplug it.
