I thought people dislike the clock? I personally dislike the clock design, I wished they changed the design but now they eliminated it.

Yeah the clock seemed to be a real point of contention. I much prefer a nice analogue clock (to digital) and thought it was quite a classy touch - like the frameless rear view mirror - but obviously there was enough feedback that VW decided to ditch the ‘controversy’
    Cheers

Looks ok, but I like the analogue clock.

Looks good but like the other posters I won't be replacing my 2018 model alltrack.
I think the clock is cool and everyone who rides in it notices it. Quite a talking point.

The loss of the clock for a blank insert and movement of hazard light switch just looks cheap, moving the switch insert from the upper dash trim to the former clock, and parking switches down to near the gear selector, looks more of a cost cutting exercise. If it saves $5per car and they make another million before the b9, it saves 5 mill. Little things like this, removal of chrome inserts in switches, reducing seating options and alloy options, discontinuing under seat drawers etc, are all little ways that VAG are achieving savings for the organisation

So far engine options for Aust are quoted as :
140kw 320 nm 2.0l TSI for sedan and wagon , comfortline spec pressumed, not sure if base model will be offered
162kw 350 nm 2.0 TSI for sedan wagon and alltrack, highline spec presumed
    206kw 350 nm 2.0 TSI for wagon r line

diesels are yet to be confirmed if vw aust will offer for wagon, sedan or alltrack. Looks unlikely atm, but hopefully more info later in the year

    please update/correct as required
