Just noticed that the left hand mirror is the non-dimming variant on my alltrack. Can a dimming version be retrofitted plug&play? anyone know the part noThanks

Mirror glass (aspherical wide angle) with plate automatic anti-dazzle.

This is the left side for the left hand drive models, this model was designed to have the anti dazzle feature only on the driver's side.
Be aware that this mirror is not listed as being linked to PR code 6XN (Exterior mirrors: automatically dimming electrically foldable/adjustable separately heated).

I did this mod on my B7; I got a driver's side mirror from Europe to get the dimming and wide-angle features. Wiring did need to be added that ran to the driver's side and spliced it there; there is room to add the wiring to the door connector harness.
