    i think mine may have play, i notice some noise from the rear? i dont know whether i should put additive into it or not. ringing dealer tomorrow to get checked as only had car 2 weeks and has 104k on clock.

    Get the Haldex serviced, and see how it goes.

    still very new to vw, im ls 1 back ground but if you dont mind me asking, what is the haldex?

    It's the electronically-controlled viscous coupling on the front of the rear diff. Needs to have it's oil changed every 60K on <2010 models, or every 3 years on 2010> models.

    got to volkspower today and there is no drive to the rear end, so i have booked into vw to have properly checked (under warranty) not really happy about this

    Fuse box under the panel at the side of the dash in the cabin? There should be a diagram in the owners manual with all the fuse placements.

    Cheers I will have a look. They said there was a little drive and a little noise. But when the rear should kick in there was the diff noise. I will still check fuse tho

    Could also be the pump mate. There is a couple on here that have had pump issues just recently. Make sure you ask them to check that out too because the have the pump serviced is not a massive cost.
