    Wasn't meant as a criticism at all
    Just makes other owners a bit nervous hearing your story. These are fairly complicated cars and now they are out of warranty some failures can be expensive to remedy.
    It's reassuring to know that the diffs are built strong enough to run without lubrication for 10-15k

    At the end of the day, he made a boo-boo, he fixed it at his own expense, and if you're still happy to go there, then everyone's a winner

    The thing to take away from this, is that anyone who's veiwed the thread has probably learnt something new about their own car.

    I'd suggest looking on ebay at the moment as there are 3x R36's being wrecked at the moment.
