    Rns510 repair

Hey mate, possibly see if you can get it fixed if not and you're looking for a replacement then PM me, as I have a one sitting around which is a newer LED SSD unit. Part number 1T0035680T

I'll probably be listing it for sale next week at some stage

So it has power but doesnt actually work.
First-time any issues with the unit at all since new.
What i wanted was someone that can see if the unit is repairable and whether it is the init?

    Any recommendations?

What about a hard restart. Maybe disconnect the battery for 15 minutes (hope does not mess anything else up). Let the power drain and reconnect then. While the battery is disconnected, press the power button to make sure all power is drained from the unit. Could be a software issue.

After disconnecting the battery then touch the two terminals together to discharge any residual power.

Hard drive crash? Mine crashed but it was after a SSD was put in it, installed a new one and it has been no problem since AFAIK.

If you have already removed it, consider this specialist RNS 510 repair shop in the UK. Might be worth a go: HOME | Rns 510 sat nav service
