I hate the yellow filament globe look personally.
    Hi kamold,

I ordered some of these to replace my parkers and they arrived today.

The led's measure 3.5cm whereas the globe that's being replaced is 2cm. When I tried to fit the led, it was too long and was pushing against the parker light housing.

    Did this happen to you?

Not devo by any means as a very low price for the led's, but am keen to get the right ones.

    Cheers

Yes they are longer and do end up well I side the housing. Mine still fit however so I'm happy with them.

    Hey Cof ,

I used phillips led's and they fit perfect ,nice look as well.

If you don't mind spending a little more and putting some quality led's in your R36 ...

Thanks Heinrich R36, I gave the ones I had another go however one came off and almost fell in to the light bulb cavity...a real pain to get it out and took me ages.

Anyway I haven't had a chance to look around for others however I notice you've used a canbus control unit with the phillips globes, how do you install the control unit?

    No probs,

The canbus units are very small and come with 3m double sided foam sticky strips to attatch the unit anywhere.

There is actually enough room to mount them inside the rear of the headlight where the access panel covers.

I will take some pics tomorrow to give you an idea how to fit them neatly.

Here is a pic inside the rear of the headlight housing with the canbus unit connected and stuck to the side.

    Good fit they were.
