R36 Guys: DSG gearing question

Hey guys. For those of you with the original DQ250's in your R36's I'm wondering what RPM you guys are at while doing 120km/h cruising speed in auto. I allegedly bought an R36 trans for the swap in my car but questioning the validity of that transaction.
My car flies off the line and gets through the gears ridiculously fast but cruising at 120 the revs are up pretty high (can't remember exactly right now but 3600 rings a bell) and fuel mileage is definitely not awesome. Was around 11l/100 with cruise on if I remember correctly. I can't seem to find any gearbox ratios for my trans either. It's like it never existed. Don't remember the code off hand either but I'll double check when I get home.

Not accurate info. But I thought I had read the DQ250 in a R36 was the shortest ratio available.

So two possibilities.

1. That is wrong

2. Yours had already had another gearbox and now you’ve swapped back to an original spec.

I was incorrect actually. 2600 rpm @ 120km/h. I checked it today.
My car isn't an R36 as we never got them in Canada, but I did bring a DSG over from Australia that I swapped into my B6. Originally had the 09G slushbox auto that was far more highway friendly. I checked the code on the trans (located somewhere near the filter housing) and couldn't find any ratios. Just think it's kinda funny the speedo reads 300km/h (it's also from an R36) and there's no way the car would hit that speed.

The R36 is quite short.
R32 is shorter again.
B7 3.6FSI highline has slightly more highway friendly ratio in 6th.

The 7th gear in the DQ500 helps this situation a lot.

Those RPM at 120kph seems about right to me....perhaps a touch high but definitely in the ballpark. What size rims and tyres (tires) have you got on the car? If you want R36 gear ratios then you will need to have R36 wheel and tyre specs.

Anyways, Lucas the tire size is pretty much spot on compared to stock... rolling on 235/35/19 which I believe is negligible if memory serves correct.
And yes Kamold I definitely want the DQ500 but unlike you lucky bastards these things are not easy to find (RS3 only as far as I know) and I'm not paying for another overseas shipment if I can help it so a tune will have to suffice for now.
I've got an OEM+ R36 on the way to me that needs significant reassembly and wiring completion (BCM, HBA and tons of other B7 goodies) so that's priority #1. Once I get her up and running then sell mine I'll strongly consider that swap but for now it's a forgone conclusion.

Speaking of BCM swaps... Kamold I may bug you at some point in the near future but I need to put together a parts list of what's installed in the new car first... there's a lot of B7 goodness.
