    Yeah.. I know.

    I've got a box lined up for ~$1300 in NSW.. So that IS an option, labour would essentially be free or close to it IF the car yard is going to replace the clutch. I figure that I could drop the known good box off and have VW swap it over.

    I'd have to confirm the gearbox code, but that should be easy on my side via VCDS.

    The box comes out of a car that had a front end impact with a full service history.
