Hey guys,

My shifter material is starting to peel and was wondering where people have gotten a new one?
VW will be super expensive.

Would really like to get the same unit to keep the car original.

You see the odd one on eBay but they are usually already damaged. I assume that the metal term around the button is coming off?
I found a few online including the below link. You will have to buy the assembly just to get the gear knob. Seems they were also fitted to MK5 GTi and MK6 GTD.
