    R36 - coming home lights

    Hi guys

According to the manual, the coming home feature needs to be enabled by pulling the stalk towards you

However prefer this to be automatic, ie. return home, pull out the key and the lights should come on

What is the behaviour on your R36, it seems some do this some dont, maybe its different between MY08, 09, 10 ?

    Thanks

Mine is pull stalk back but I would like for them to just come on when I pull the key out and shut the door.

Looks like we need a VCDS to make it auto

Fantastic! Very handy when I purchase VCDS ,thanks ...

Yeah pulling the stalk back is just not really the best, especially on a car that cost $65,000 new this should just be activated automatically from factory when you eject the key.

Mine on my 08 R36 work. setting up through steering wheel. Set time and off you go. To be honest didn't read the manual being male lol but managed to get them to work, also for walking out to the car. Soon as it unlocks lights come on as set for 30 seconds.
