About five months ago I had my front rotors machined and I replaced the front pads on my B7 Passat alltrack. Since then the braking performance has declined considerably and its driving me crazy. I replaced the front pads with Bendix euro plus pads thinking they were good, has anyone else been through a similar situation and what are the go to pads these days for a OEM replacement pad that are dustless? as I'm thinking of replacing the pads again.
Do the discs as well, as you've reduced their life by machining them.

Well there's your problem Lady!
It depends on your driving style and what you are trying to achieve.
The Wagner pads on my Octavia are great but I really doubt you have the same needs as me. Short trips, no noise, less dust, immediate friction from cold.
The Bremtec trade Series pads i fitted to the Accord euro are shockers - avoid at all costs. Wooden pedal. Lack stopping power. Don't come good with heat. Dusty

Hi
Done ceramic ate pads and rotors. No dirty wheels, breaking capability increased. No noise. Overall,. very happy.
All jobs done by Volkwerke (Doncaster). Will go again there

Thanks for the advise....
Are the standard ATE pads any good? (the non ceramic pads)
and does anyone know of a website that has a ATE part number lookup online for ate pads? as I tried calling ATE and there not able to supply part numbers to the general public.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't just get the ATE ceramic...
This might help

Ceramic are not much dearer.
Ring HSY with your VIN, and order through them.
