Tired springs?
Hi,
I have a 2009 Passat R36 station wagon.
It has DCC
When I load five adults with some bags or have a decent loaded trailer behind the car, the rear suspension bottoms out.
The stock wheels actually hit the liners of the wheel wells.
Does anybody have experience with rear suspension assist or knows of a simple solution.
Would this work:
ST Online Shop - Gewindefahrwerke, ST Spring distance kit RA 15 mm Sportfahrwerke, Stossdämpfer, Tieferlegungsfedern
Or are there proper bag solution like this:
Volkswagen Passat Wagon 3c 365 Firestone Coil Rite Air Suspension Assist Bags | eBay
Obviously any solution should not impede performance and work with DCC
Ideally there is a solution I can fit myself. Any pointers will be much appreciated.
thanks
Karel

What mode are.you running it in for that to happen?

It has done 77k, so it seems a bit early for tired springs
It happens in every DCC mode
I'd be looking at the shocks.
There was a question mark over how long they'd last, even before the R36 got DCC.

Shouldn't be hitting liners at stock height though.
