OEM Passat B7 sedan tow bar

Hi All,
Can dealers install OEM tow bars on my b7 Passat sedan?
Anyone have experienced getting this done successfully without any issues with sensors etc?

Yes, dealers can do it. If you use the genuine wiring kit, everything will be fully integrated.

Why not try this guy His prices are pretty good and hes has different models I was going to get the this vertical fitting one as it seems its the tidiest

A dealer will probably only farm it out anyway and possibly stick an HR type ugly thing on it.

There was a hooror thread on here sometims ago about a towbar installtion that was a real mess They hacked the bumper really roughly and the bar was obvious and intrusive.

This is the one I mean Towbar - Poor workmanship


The Euro Westfalia bars look to be the neatest and some dont even need a bumper cut

Yeah I realiase that but have seen what is suposed to be a "Genuine" bar that certainly wasnt very neat as against what the Westfalia bars look like. That old thread I posted is proof of that

Genuine bar is made by Best Bars for Volkswagen Australia. The quality of the install is not related to the quality of the product.
