"mirror down" on a Volkswagen passat b6 retrofit

I know this is b7 option but i would like to know is possible to install on b6?

Anyone who knows what parts need?

How much would be installation cost including labour?

    Thank for any answers...

For whatever it costs I reckon its a waste of money. Mine has it and I rarely if ever use it. Doesnt give view of rear wheel so its not all that helpful.
You want to see where your wheel is not the rear corner of the vehicle I reckon.

Have managed over 4 years without scraping rims on either car.

I do not have problem with parking car or pararell parking (oftem using auto parking). Just thinking that option would be nice to have...
    Thank you for your input

Haven't done it but you would likely need the new mirrors and new front door control modules, possibly new door switch module and door window motors.

Alternatively you could use a Polar FIS+ which would be much easier and cheaper and also adds additional functionality.

I am slightly confused. My MY10.5 R36 has mirror down. Is this not common to the B6's? Is it an MY10.5 model related thing?

R36s all have it because they have memory seats.
This is the controller that remembers positions for seats and mirrors.
But its not a default option for all Passats
