Can you change the colour of the full height MFD? If so what's involved?

Is yours white? I changed my white mdf in my 09 cc to a colour cluster and then to a colour 3D cluster. It's a whole instrument cluster change

They are rare to find with 0km's and very expensive but a straight swap from white to colour also make sure to turn off production mode.

I have 160k on clock. Maybe not worth to change at all.

    Mfd colour

Cost depends on car, I paid $1600 for the colour r line one locally to give you a idea, costs varies depending on diesel/petrol ect

3D requires a can gateway upgrade, and the can gateway upgrade can get complicated with wire changes if your car has ACC and reverse camera, Colour does not require a gateway upgrade.

If the clusters have 0km then the km of our car can be programmed with vcds

I will be selling my old colour cluster which will suit a Passat or cc but it's for a diesel, I am organising this to be reset so the km can be programmed with vcds. This is a pic of it when fitted:
