Liqui Moly Diesel purge air went into engine and now wont start

Yes I regularly use Moreys and use the liqui diesel fuel clean and boost once an yr. Thats why I am thinking during one of the service the fuel filter has been missed or it could be due to the fuel.
We dont have BP ultimate diesel here, so using Vortex Diesel, previously the car was exclusively on BP Ultimate in QLD.

Which scanner do you use Transporter?

VCP, VCDS, Snap-On VerusPro, Bosch KTS570.

VCDS is best suited for DIY and best value for money. Each of the above does your basic diagnostics and coding. The Bosch does the software updates as well as it has some unique features, the others are missing.

Ok, so no additive was being put in the last 2 fills (Wife says she could not find Morey's smoke killer and didnt realise the clean and boost needed to be used). I suppose with the short runs we have been doing the fault in the sensor.

Wow that bosch is one expensive scanner and its current version is £2k plus postage. lol
Anyway the new Hex 2 from Ross Tech seems to be the way to go, unless I can find someone who is selling theirs.

Use the diesel fuel additive evertime you fill up (not that expensive and maintains good fuel economy, so it kind of pay for itself, let alone lower maintenance costs) and you probably never have to do it again.
To void extended cranking, I use the scanner to prime the fuel system after fuel filter change.

Did not know about using diesel additive.
My B7 Passat only doing about 12~14 K annul, always serviced by local (Southern Highlands) dealer.
So what sort of additive should I use. I mostly fill up with BP diesel (I think same as truck diesel, from local depot)
