I used 2009 as the lookup. 02E325025AT seems to be the part number. The software version needs to be matched to the VIN when ordering.

Finding one with the correct software might be tricky, or you need to find somewhere to flash it.

02E325025AL was discontinued in 2017 if your looking for second hand parts, but if you look at mech's out of the B7 for example, you will need to find a tuner to match the ratios, B7 and R36 have different gearing.

Thank mate appreciate it. I did find one from a 2013cc but I assume that is same gearing as b7

Yes AT is the last rev available for PQ cars.
Then of course as Gavin pointed out above, it needs to be flashed with a suitable software for R36 which has the correct ratios etc.
It's possible to also use modified software from newer PQ cars such as the NMS which came with the 3.6L engine, but it needs to be modified to correct the ratios for the R36 gearbox.
It includes some bug fixes etc. Normally you'd include a TCU tune also if going down this route (as it needs to be 'tuned' anyway to correct the ratios).
