Been a bit slack with updates recently...

2 mods for the list - Supersprint catback exhaust and smoked sequential mirror turn signals



The exhaust was an impulse purchase from another R36 owner who is trading in his vehicle and going back to stock.

I always maintained that I didn't want an aftermarket exhaust, but now that I do, it brings more smiles every time the right foot goes down

I'm always window shopping for cars. But I keep coming back to the same conclusion at the moment - until I can afford an RS6 (ie never) I can't see anything that I would want to replace my R36 with....

This is true...
Though I had to change the trim to get rid of the old park brake button otherwise it will confuse people when they drive it.
And seeing as I was getting parts out of a B7 anyway I thought I may as well get the new AC vents. They are also illuminated at night which is a little nicer.

Now just needs a good clean because of all my fingerprints all over the trim and then ONE last big upgrade and my car will be complete (until I get another crazy idea)...

I know I'm very late to this, but I'm assuming you'd have had to run power for the LED illumination at night, how did you do this?

I've got a local base Model B7 with no motor in it and a full interior available off a mate.

I'm also considering swapping the door cards as my drivers one is damaged quite badly but I fear that the rear door cards are different on a sedan as well?

I'm also on the hunt for that B7 shifter as I discussed when I was at yours but all of the cars I've seen have had poor condition shifters. It's literally the door card and the shifter that are broken, yet the shifters that I find are all in worse condition then mine..

Hey Matt,

When you purchase the vents make sure you request/take the harness for them too. You can easily tap into one of the controls next to the handbrake for the illumination signal.

I don’t believe sedan and wagon rear door trims are interchangeable from what I’ve read, they have different part numbers also.
Another thing to note is whether the donor car has a button operated or push style fuel cap door, if that latter you will need to swap over your fuel door/boot controls.
