I know you're asking Jake, but I can tell you what the Comfort/Sport button does: It's the
Adaptive Chassis Control system and it has three settings, Comfort/Normal/Sport, this adjusts the suspension dampening noticeably and also adjusts the steering feel too. In comfort the steering wheel is very light, and in sport it gains a good feeling of weight.
In 2010 there were two models of R36, the MY10 and the MY10.5. My 10.5 wagon has a two knob clmatronic unit with a buttoned panel in between.
I'm not sure about rails in the cargo area, you can get an optional cargo liner with some moveable velcro blocks/dividers - is this what you are referring to?
